Grand prix motor swap

I have a totaled 2001 grand prix with a running 3.8L
V6 engine. I also have a 2005 grand prix with a
blown 3.8L V6, can I drop it out and replace it with
the running one in the 01?

sounds good to me- except that you still have a cheap car after all that time and expense-
