Asked by Tyshun Sep 13, 2013 at 12:59 AM about the 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix SE

Question type: Car Customization

Mi back end is wrack and it will cost
me lot of money to get it in body
shop. So they told me that the best
thing for me to do is get another
body and put my motor in it.

Unless you have the time and the ability to do an engine swap yourself so you don't have any cost for labor, changing the engine on a ten year old front wheel drive car is not worth the time and expense. I would call an auto recycler and ask them to come and get your old car, Then go buy another one that's already running.

My thoughts exactly ! It's old & not worth all the work & money .Didn't you collect from who ever wrecked your car + injuries ?
