When I press the gas pedal, the car won't accelerate and doesn't rev up.

Asked by Meghan Jul 10, 2013 at 07:07 PM about the 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took my foot off the gas and tried again, it would accelerate for a second, then the same
thing. The throttle position sensor is unhooked because it's broken.
