I have a 2001 Pontiac gtp and my problem is that when the car I hot it will start but immediately die my security light flashes. But when the car is cool it starts and runs fine my dad was a mechanic for 30 something years and he thinks its the computer and if it is can I take I out and put another one in? and if that's not the problem what is cause its driving me crazy trying to figure out what it is????? im normally at work all day so I might not be able to check this site very often my email address in desmay111@gmail.com

When i put my car in drive and put my foot on the accelarator in moves very slow then it picks up speed. It didn't do that before, what does that mean?

my pontiac grand prix 2001 check engine light came on. i checked the codes and the coils came up. i tried testing the coils myself with a small vacuum hose a a light tester to see if i was getting the right amount of spark and all of a sudden my car turns on but shuts off immediately after its been turned over. what could be my problem? please help 1 Answer
