what would cause my car to idle up and down when its sitting still?

Its gets near 1000rpm and goes down and up when its sitting still

its air flow. your mass air flow censor is trying to adjust and thats why its bouncing up and down like that. check to make sure you don't have any chokes or clogs anywhere through your airflow. make sure there is no air leaks too.
