99 Grand Prix sputtering

Asked by GuruH56M Apr 19, 2017 at 05:52 PM about the 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix 2 Dr GT Coupe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 99 Grand Prix , when I first got it , it would
shut off sometimes usually when coming to a stop ,
I replaced the crankshaft sensor and after that the
car never died again but always tried to , then I
replaced the throttle position sensor , while doing
that I broke a vacuum line , drove it for a while and
played with it , I replaced the vacuum line to the
best of my ability . The car now shuts off , doesn't
want to go when you give it gas , starts trying to
bog out and will go dead after slowing down , and
shifts hard , and doesn't have overdrive any
answers ?
