I have a 98 grand prix se that has starting problems

The car was over heating on my way back home from work when i try to start the car the key gets stuck in the ignition found the release button and when i tryed to start it no go so i reseted the battery put it back in lights came on and everthing tryed to start it and everthing dies again have no clue wat the problem is any one could help me.

can you restate everything please, with the main symptoms and what you did. thanks

more than likly intake gasket are leaking pull intake off replace gasket and upper intake most likly will fix prob
