starts drive it shut it off takes 20min plus till it will restart

Starter might be getting "heat soaked", and can't crank until it cools down.

Could also be electronic. Probably heat related. It's a pretty old car. My '95 Bonneville started doing weird stuff near the end of its life which seemed to be heat/computer related. Never did figure it out. After the whole snowstorm, pickup truck, I-thought-you-were- moving incident it didn't seem to matter anymore.
