1997 Grand Prix not supper chargered

My car won't start I put a new starter took the
battery cables off replace the fuse lights come on
the dash it's a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix I try to rest
the system still didn't work I been at it for a week
now I've had the battery recharge it won't turn over
at all

Could try the neutral safety switch if automatic or clutch safety switch if manual. On the auto there will be a harness going to the gear selector under the center console. The clutch safety will be on the pedal assembly behind the clutch pedal (if manual).

Try starting it in neutral. Is the security light on or flashing? If so, you need to be towed to your local GM Dealer for repairs. Don't waste your time with the magical relearn procedures that everyone talks about! They won't work in your situation if this is a security system failure! Hope that helps! Jim
