What are some good brake pads and rotors?

I need to change my brake pads and rotors
because they're old and squeaky. Plus, the rotors
have rust. I just need some help choosing a good
durable, quiet, and not to expensive kind.

If you just go to your local parts store, and ask for original equipment replacement parts, you wouldn't be spending an arm and a leg for the parts, and they will last a long time. They do make cheap pads and rotors, don't want them, and of course they make expensive stuff that really, do you need that on just a passenger car that is not modified? Just throwing money away there.
