The rack nd pinion but iv been told to
change my subframe.. Is there
anything i need to have looked at
steering wise ?

I have boys that works in a body shop they even told me change the huh subframe

Tennisshoes is right, after a hit like that the car needs to go to a proper front end shop for an evaluation. There are all kinds of things that could be bent or broken. Just replacing parts willy-nilly is potentially a waste of money, The car could easily be a write off.
