Thanks so much. Where would this temp switch be? I have the 2 fan relays. I am so frustrated to finally finish this diagnostics as a home mechanic.

You have all been so helpful and save me the rest of my hair I have been pulling out. I kept researching to not find correct results. THANK YOU ALL for your input!

If you are trying to find the ECT (ECM temp Sensor) ..that is located under the end of the intake manifold, throttle body end. It points to the rear cylinder head. It cannot be seen unless the exhaust crossover is removed first. One can just get their hand under the crossover to feel for it. If you need to replace it the cooling system has to be partially drained & the exhaust crossover has to come off as well the entire intake snorkel assembly to service it.

I should add as well...if the crossover bolts will not free themselves (do NOT break them, that will cause you a huge headache you do NOT want)..then the entire upper plenum/intake manifold has to come off the engine. This an involved process, it will require replacing all of the gaskets & seals that accompany both items. Are you absolutely sure that the ECM is getting incorrect temp info from the ECT?
