my 2005 grand am has exhaust fumes coming in through the vents inside my car what is the problem?

Check this part of the exhaust (just under the engine). Or maybe an exhaust gasket? You can only see the problem with the car in front of your eyes. Just start the engine in the morning and take a knee on a newspaper and take a look under the car.
