I have a Grand Am with 270000 miles
on it I want you to the shop and they
said that the transmission fluid was
dirty and I needed to service it but I
heard that servicing or changing your
food can ruin a transmission could I
get some facts or opinions on this
please thanks

100000 max to do fluid change,recamended. Most shops will not do,or warranty.
