Emissions test catalytic converter and evap system say not ready. How do ya make them ready?

Had codes cleared for check engine light.  Did
recomended milage and stop and gos, speeds.  
These two will not show ready.  What would be my
first steps to take to resolve this so it will pass?

Same problem. Addison Illinois test center. I had 4055 can changed the evap Purge and vent solenoid. Check engine went away but have catalytic converter and evap sys NOT READY.
