It seems like the return spring in the master cylinder is weak or you have contamination. The flexible brake lines are "Hydroscopic" meaning that over a period of time water gets into to fluid ... water+oil =Acid ... the acid attacks the galvanized brake lines. Drain all the fluid and do a good "Bleeding" If you don't have the tool then you need the help of a trusted friend to do it correctly. // I have actually seem Trailer tires catch fire due to dragging brakes
