Pontiac rims

Asked by IrishGhost Aug 25, 2019 at 04:57 PM about the 2002 Pontiac Grand Am SE

Question type: General

I have a 2002 pontiac grand am se 2.2l with
factory rim/tire size of 225/50/r16...my question
is, I have a set of pontiac rims here that are 17
inch by 7.5 inches...can I use them for my 2002?
I'm not sure what year the new pontiac rims are
but it's the same 5 star bolt pattern. I'm posting
pic of the new ones I bought. Any help would be
appreciated!!!

You would have to measure the lug hole diameter. The older Grand Am's came with a smaller Lug diameter. Your 2002 Pontiac GA uses a 5 lug 4.53" or 115mm diameter. Are the new rims the same? If so, you can use them and install tires at this size. 225/45-17
