Just recently my 2002 Grand Am started screeching and not holding speed. I'm guessing its my tranni but I don't know what to do. Help

Most likely a bad bearing somewhere in the trans. You can try changing the fluid but it's probably beyond a driveway fix. Those trannies are available everywhere, relatively inexpensive. If the car is otherwise in good shape it's wroth getting it fixed right.
