Low Coolant

Every time I put coolant in my 2001
Pontiac Grand Am the "low coolant" light
still comes on and the car starts to
overheat. I don't see any coolant on the
ground so I don't know what the problem
could be.

Check to make sure you do not have air trapped in system. When cold add coolant while engine runs. I am not a car guy but this helped me with same problem.
How do you check to make sure air isn't trapped in the system?
Sorry I am not the car guy. I just know this happens and I just slowly added the coolant while engine ran. Cold in the morning.
Okay. Thank you I will try that and see if it works. I was thinking I might have a leak somewhere because I have to keep buying coolant to put in the car because it keeps getting low.
This happened to me and it was the water pump going out.

my ac unit is blowing warm ijust and 2 cans of r134 and 1 can of recharge and stop leak seal after about one week its back blown warm
