Can over filling my transmission o damage my car

The most typical damage is overheating and oil foaming because of too high pressure in the gearhouse. If the oil is standing high enough to reach the clutches they will not be able to move and operate correctly and cause the clutches to slip. But for that to happen it must be overfilled a lot.
