I have a 2001 Grand Am and it shakes real bad when I drive on the interstate. Could anyone tell me what's wrong with it?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My "BRAKE" "ABS" and "Trac Off" lights are
on. From time to time, my "BRAKE" light will
go off, but then my "Service Vehicle Soon"
light will come on and I have no idea. I've
had a hub bearing replaced but it still
shakes real bad.

Is your life insurance policy up to date? It;s going to cost more to fix than it's worth, sorry to say. Look on the bright side, it's newer car time.

Double check all the wheel bearings. Sounds like you might have one in real bad shape. Also if front wheel drive you could be having a cv axle going bad. Use caution. I would not advise driving it at highway speeds. Your safety comes first.

I have had this problem before, try cleaning or replacing your MAF sensor. Once I replaced the sensor the car ran normally.
