2000 grand am gt traction control

ever since i bought the car a month ago the
traction control button will work if i push it... push
it an it will turn off then push it again an it will turn
back on then as soon as u start moving in either
drive or reverse the "trac off" light would light up an
button wont turn it off until u restart the car then
does same thing any ideas?

Did you try pulling the center console out and seeing if it's the switch or wiring? I had the issue of not being able to turn off my traction control one time but i pulled out the center console and it was fixed. Had the same issue with the hazard switch not fully disengaging and i had to press it a few times to get my blinkers to work.
