Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The love of my life did something really weird today. Baby (my 1999 Grand Am

If it is low on gas, she'll ding at you. If your seat belt is not on, she'll ding until your strapped in. If you have something heavy on the passenger side seat, it will set the reminder ding off. Head lights left on, she'll let you know with a ding. Stuff like that.

None of that...3/4 of a tank...I have my belt on and nothing in the passanger seat...besides those are different tones and and they are more than one beep. This was the tone that should have come with a warning light.

For future reference the 1999 Grand Am Se 4 door has a warning bell (but no dashboard warning light) for low power steering fluid.

She'll ding for you even if the power steering fluid is low.
