I've had my 96 grand am up to 170 but once it got up there in km i didn't get up above 150

I have 2001 ga gt. had it to the pin a few times. speeo says 220 kmh but it was a little passed it.there are a few overide chips or add-ons to get rid of the shut down on most vehicles. jetchip makes one and superchips makes 1 too. try www.pfyc.com

i have a 99 se and it goes 106 b4 it cuts out but the safe way would b to put up the front wheels and floor it and c how fast u go
