Check the solenoid switch on the transmission. I believe it locks up the torque converter. When you get up to about 45 mph the torque converter locks up for better fuel mileage. It supposed to unlock when you slow down. When the switch fails, it causes a stall as you slow down. A quick way to check is to unplug the switch and car should not stall when slowing down but can run rough with poor gas mileage. The switch is not expensive. Owned a Celebrity and a Cutlass Ciera wagon, both had this problem. Good luck.
