Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1998 Mist Eclipse spyder gs with 180k. while doing a test there was no water in the oil until i pressurized the line with a new cap. I just had replaced the  thermostate, pressure tested rad, and a new water pump with all the belts to include timing. Now water in the oil.  Do I buy a reman head and install a new head gasket( reman head was $300 and just install it or should i do something else

first flush the cooling system and add only water and go thru a drive cycle before jumping to conclusions

i did all that and came to the conclusion that it is a blown head gasket. I had the rad pressure tested. The mechanic at the rad shop said to put a new cap on which i did which then put pressure on the system and then the oil turned the color of too much milk in coffee color. So my ? is .. a remanufactured head or should i have my head checked and shaved if necessary. ( would the reman head come with less worn parts than the head removed from the car. ) Thanks mike
