My 2004 Grand Marques left turn signal indicator is flashing rapidly, like it would to indicate one of the turn signal bulbs is blown, but both front and back seem to be still flashing, so what else could it be?

Thanks! I didn't realize that there were 2 bulbs associated with the tail light turn signal.
