had to put new brake lines on my mercury marquis have very good brakes now bot the brake light in the dash wont go off. any ideas

Is your emergency brake pedal depressed? Even just a little and the brake light will come on.

Having similar problem although no brake work done not does it need it they are only about 15000 miles old just came on and didn't go back off
