Why isn't our defroster working?

does the fan work ? Could be the selector switch do you hear any vent doors open/close when you make selections ? What tools do you have ?

Yes to both but it's just not blowing out enough to defrost. It only defrosts about a size of an orange.

then it sounds like it only works on a low setting , you'll have to see if it's the speed selector or the resistor pack , the motor works , just not on a high setting , if you find the resistor pack you can hot wire it to run on a set speed but it's best if it works normally .

Could it be a leak as well?
