1997 Grand Marques just stopped starting.

I drove to the store and back. Went to leave again
and my car wouldnt start. Not even Crank. All i get
is a single "click" . All the lights come on inside.
Tried to jumpstart it, but it did the opposite. When i
have the cables connected, theres no lights, no
click... nothing. Once the cables are removed, it do
the single click again. Please help. Im all alone in a
new town, so i know noone and Im very limited on
money. So any ideas of what it may be would be
greatly appreciated!!
