Can springs from an 01 A4 quattro 2.8 be swapped to 96 A4 quattro 2.8?

Asked by Bordom Sep 20, 2013 at 02:36 PM about the 1996 Audi A4 2.8 quattro Sedan AWD

Question type: General

Stock spring broke on the right side. Found springs from an 01 A4 and I wanted to know if they're interchangeable.

Well as far as i know the 96 - 2001 models are all the same with slight discrepancy such as different trim on the doors or different mats but most mechanical parts are usually compatible so yes they should work just fine but i advise snapping a picture of yours then going to compare it with the ones your looking at to be on the safe side
