i have a 1996 audi with 155 pressure showing on oil gauge. it will "knock" for about 10 seconds then go away. any ideas

this a new car for me. don't know too much about engine. what is the unit that
the oil filter screws into?? could that be the issue? thanks for your help

knocking for these old cars is normal. As they get older the lifters start wearing out and they cause a ticking noise often only on start up. Try some slick 50 Full Synthetic it stoped the ticking in my car during the duration of the oil change. some mechanics will tell you don't do it but i used it and never had an issue.
