is this really a 4wd vehicle?...personally was stunned when they came out with the 4wd ford taurus....some things are best at the level where we know what to expect of them~ don't want to be caught with my finger in my mouth here~

Dribble! The fill plug on the Ford 8.8" differential is on the left front of the diff. There's a magnet built into the plug so be sure to look for shards of metal (the soft gray stuff is normal) and clean it well. It faces forward and can be removed with a 3/8" rachet and 3" extension. Some people help others - some just help themselves.
