Does the fuel pump on a 2000 lincoln towncar have a fuse?

Fuel pump stopped working with no warning.

There would be a fuse and a relay. Try banging on the gas tank. If the pump starts working you need a new pump.

My 2005 Town Car has a fuel cut off button. It's located in the trunk, over the left rear fender through the felt. If yours has this, push it and see if it helps. It's a safety feature in case you get bumped it automatically cuts off the fuel to prevent fire. Worth a check.
