i have a 91 towncar 4.6l. when it warms up it blows white smoke from the exhaust that smeels
of gas. also when it warms up it has a rough idle. and when you put it into reverse to back up it
acts like it looses power and it smokes a little bit more than when its in drive. any help is greatly
appreciated.thanks

White smoke usually means blown head gasket. You may want to have the engine compression checked.
