with a blown transmission are there any
transmissions compatible with this cat?

You will need to know what 3 digit transmission code you have on your unit. You will either have a CJP, CJD or DPT. You may have to call your local Audi service department to determine what one you have. Once you take to Audi or a Audi service shop log into car- parts.com and use the drop downs to locate the right used transmission / parts for your Audi.
