Why does my 3.7 liter start fine and die immediately?

Asked by Red86 Nov 20, 2015 at 12:13 AM about the 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 05 Cherokee starts like it should
but dies within seconds. Acts to me
like it is burning all of the available
fuel in the cylinder and intake and
runs out of combustibles. It starts rite
back up when I turn the key off and
on again then it runs fine. Anyone
have any ideas?
