Rear End Howling, but Unseen Cause

Hey there!
I have recently started having some problems with my 2005 Jeep Grand
Cherokee. There is a sort of "wind-tunnel" like noise coming from the rear of
the car and has only ben getting louder. I have already replaced the rear
bearings on both sides and changed out the differential fluid, but the sound is
still there. I can only begin to assume that my tires must just suck and what I
am hearing is road noise. Is it possible to improperly break in new bearings?
Any sort of advice would be great!

I've seen brand new bearings be no good in other vehicles right out of the box before, but let's start simpler. What kind of tire do you have on your Grand Cherokee and how many miles on them? Does the sound change with speed, i.e. does it get louder the faster you go?

I suspect that the differential bearings are also going out.
