my 2004 jeep windows stopped working and they're down ,Can I run the wire to the battery to get them up?

I have fixed everything that was recommended but my 2004 jeep windows are
stuck down, I'm wanting to find out about running the wire to the battery just
long enough to get the windows up?

Just in case someone else is having this problem, I did connect my positive battery cable to the hot wire and my windows are up. A great temporary fix!
