2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee left rear only turn signal/flasher not working.

My rear driver side only turn signal stopped
working.It acted up a few times the day
before it went out totally. Replaced bulb still
not working so replaced with a new socket
assembly, still not working.Fuses are good as
well. The rear light assembly has 3
lights/sockets and only the flasher/turn signal
does not work... any suggestions please.

this is a notorious problem on this model run--1999-2004--the plastic tail light assembly gets hot and warps the plastic so the electrical contacts have no contact--pretty easy fix-- just bend up the little metal contact tabs on the inside of the taillight where the bulb and its little housing twist in.
