Can I put 235/75R16 on 2004 JGC Laredo? Currently has 225/75R16

Asked by Matt Nov 01, 2017 at 04:28 PM about the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Question type: General

Looking to put a bigger tire but trying to avoid the 245/70R16 which it says I can do but that only makes a 0.2" difference in diameter so kind of want to do the 235/75

1 Answer

Will it cause any issues with the transmission with the taller tire? I think the 235 is 0.6" taller than the 225. I know the speedometer will be slightly off not to concerned with that. To me it seems like it shouldn't be a big deal
