Door locking problems

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

HELP! I drove my 2004 jeep grand cherokee home
and when I went to get back in later the Fob
stopped working and I wasnt able to manually get
into the car. It wasnt unlocking. So naturally I
thought that the battery in the Fob was dead so I
replaced the battery and nothing. Then I noticed
that the gauges were going haywire even though
the car wasn't turned on. Now I have no way of
getting into the car or the hood. Any thought's???

The key doesn't unlock the door? The key is your best bet, if you have one. Then disconnect the battery a while, if you can get back in.
