What does itts mean if my mechanic fixed my Jeep earlier & now Auto Zone said the 4 & 6 spark plugs in the coil pack are misfiring

the obd2 computer on your jeep indicated that 4&6 cyilnders are missfiring. if your mechanic did not errase the error code the check engine light will stay on. furthermore it would be odd for both coil packs to go bad at the same time. I would require quite a bit more info to see what has been done. i have seen engine oil seep into the plug housing and cause missfires(lincoln)

I have seen people spray their vehicles with water in the engine compartment to "clean them" and short out their coil packs.
