2002 Jeep Cherokee. Left rear quarter panel is hissing or making a air sound.

Asked by Katrina aka Teherror... Jul 31, 2020 at 06:52 PM about the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm having trouble because my Jeep is making a sound like
air is coming out of my left rear quarter panel. It is not the
tire. It is not the shocks. What it is I do not know. So will
one of you handsome gentlemen help a lady in distress.
Thank you

Does the sound happen with the engine on or off? IF off, take the fuel cap off and see if the hissing goes away. If engine on, it just could be the fuel pump whining.
