Brake lights stoped working.

Asked by David Mar 17, 2017 at 11:11 PM about the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had a passenger side brake light out. I changed
the bulb and now all three lights stoped working?
Running lights (same bulb) work. Fuse is good. Any
help?

Sounds like a bad connection. Could be right in the bulb socket. A test light is handy for checking. Also check back to where the wiring harness plugin connector is, a lot of times the connector needs to be cleaned up, there is probably 2 under the back end.

Make sure top socket with tip are connecting with silver ground tabs inside light fixture. Sometimes you have to left tabs to ensure connection.
