Asked by Cj1100 Jul 02, 2016 at 05:27 AM about the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 02 jeep grand Cherokee lorado that had
the 4.0 straight six and I was curious if I could
swap to a 4.7L v8 without having to change my
wiring harness and stuff because I blew a rod out
and the straight six.

That swap would require a "rework" of the Jeep most guys can't / won't do it... Because there are so many changes necessary.
