My 2002 jeep cherokee

My Jeep cherokee has started over heating someone told
me the fan motor went I know nothing about cars I just
drive them , so my question is how much is a fan motor or
could it be something else my antifreeze jug is full and it's
water in the radiator and there are no leaks but it keeps
over heating I not not driving it now because I'm scared to
ruin the engine the car is old with a lot of miles .....someone
help me please.

Verify that the fan is indeed not working, you can run some wiring from the battery to the fan and see if it will run if so hard wire them in and go get a temperature switch that controls the fan or run your new hot wired fan to a switch inside the Jeep just do not forget to flip it on or if its not working go to a parts store and but a new one or used if you like, they are easy to remove and install.
