Asked by boner Apr 13, 2016 at 11:32 PM about the 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo

Question type: General

Changed the crank sensor fired up. Drove
around the block and it died. I pushed it
home with another truck and now engine
sounds like top end isn't rolling. Is that
possible?

Air temp switch may be bad but why would the engine sound like the top end isn't turning.? Sounds like the plugs are out while turning it over.

I failed to mention that it died cuz the gas line had a crack in it but reattached it and now it sounds like a car without a timing belt on it. It has 130xxx miles on it

Alright so that being said I probably need new heads too? Valves probably got hit huh?
