Check your transmission fluid level, while the Jeep is running. Make sure it's full and red like cherry kool-aid. If its brown and smells burnt have it flushed. I recommend BG brand.

A transmission flush gets rid of all the old fluid and dirt in the torque converter, trans cooler lines and trans cooler. Just dropping the pan and changing the filter won't. So as soon as you start it after reinstalling the pan the fresh new fluid mixes with the dirty trans fluid thats leftover.
