Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just replaced the window regulator a month ago with a brand new one and it broke already. If I get one from the junk yard what years do I have to work with? Also, Is there a trick so it doesnt keep happening????

Also if you find it is binding and wearing out motors then grease the regulator joints and or cable pullies with white lithium grease
